Hi, I’m Olive, and I’m a professional dog trainer with over 7 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My love for dogs started early, but everything changed when I got my first pup at 16. That’s when I began diving into training—sparked by a psychology class that helped me connect the dots between behavior and emotion.
From there, I knew this was more than just a hobby—it was my purpose. I began my career at Petco, where I trained for two years before moving into a more advanced role at a doggie daycare. There, I wasn’t just training dogs—I was helping the staff understand canine behavior to reduce conflict and improve group dynamics. I’d often be in a room with 20+ dogs at once, learning something new from each pack interaction and building my confidence in behavior management.
Today, my focus is diving deeper into behavioral work. Too many dogs are misunderstood, mislabeled, and ultimately sent to shelters when what they really need is someone willing to see beneath the surface. I don’t just train—I listen, observe, and work to uncover the why behind every behavior.
Every dog I meet, I treat like my own. (And speaking of that—I’ve got three of my own at home… but if you ask me, I want ten!) I believe every dog deserves to be understood, and I’m here to make that happen—one tail wag at a time.
