ith over three decades of professional experience, Morris “Mo” Lindesey has dedicated his life to the art and science of dog training. His journey began in 1989 as an apprentice at Powerhouse K9 in Brooklyn, New York, under renowned Master Trainer Angelo Biondo. Since then, Mo has continually expanded his knowledge and expertise through hands-on experience, professional mentorships, competitive dog sports, and advanced training programs.
From 1990 to 1992, Mo worked as a K9 Security Guard Handler with Marine K9 Security in New York City alongside his Rottweiler partner, Paco. Throughout his career, he has trained under and apprenticed with some of the most respected names in the dog training industry, including Ed Nurse, M. Kamal, Fred Hassen, Alfredo Rivera, Martin Deeley, Bart Bellon, Dick Staal, and National Schutzhund competitor Chico Stanford.
In 2000, Mo began breeding American Bulldogs while continuing his professional development in dog training. By 2001, he had established himself as a professional trainer serving clients throughout Virginia and beyond. His commitment to excellence has led him to attend and host numerous seminars and workshops focused on obedience, behavior modification, protection work, police K9 training, Schutzhund, KNPV, and the internationally recognized NEPOPO training system.
Mo’s accomplishments extend into the competitive arena as well. In 2010, he earned the title of PSA Level 2 East Regional Champion, demonstrating his expertise in advanced obedience and protection training.
Over the course of his career, Mo has personally trained or supervised the training of an estimated 8,000 to 10,000 dogs, helping owners overcome challenges ranging from basic obedience and puppy development to severe behavior issues, aggression, working dog development, and protection training.
Mo believes that successful dog training is built on communication, consistency, trust, and clear leadership. His balanced approach allows him to tailor training programs to each individual dog and owner, creating lasting results that strengthen the bond between them.
