"Hi! My name is Terry Gilbert and I am a 20 year retired Air Force veteran. I began my dog training career in 2002 as a military working dog handler. Throughout my career, I graduated from the DoD Kennel Master and Trainer advanced K9 course, deployed to Iraq as an explosive detection dog handler and spent one year in Afghanistan where I was awarded the Bronze Star Medal. Upon my retirement, I continued my career as an explosive detection dog handler in the private sector. I pride myself in being a devoted father and husband and incorporate my family in every aspect of my dog training career. I specialize in behavior modification, and working with dogs that are often turned away by other trainers. My passion in life is training dogs and helping pet owners achieve happiness and joy with well mannered and respectful dogs."

"Hi, I'm Emily, a professional dog trainer with a passion for enhancing the lives of dogs and their owners. I have worked within the pet dog industry, successfully providing training expertise for dogs at various life stages and behavioral needs. I work with everything from puppy training to rehabilitation for aggression. Having grown up surrounded by dogs, I always knew I wanted to contribute to their well being, but soon discovered that the veterinary path wasn't the right fit for me. Instead, I pursued dog training and was fortunate to meet two exceptional mentors who motivate me every day. Outside of training, you'll likely find me reading, hiking, or kayaking with my boyfriend and my two dogs."

"Hi, I’m Olive, and I’m a professional dog trainer with over 7 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My love for dogs started early, but everything changed when I got my first pup at 16. That’s when I began diving into training—sparked by a psychology class that helped me connect the dots between behavior and emotion. From there, I knew this was more than just a hobby—it was my purpose. I began my career at Petco, where I trained for two years before moving into a more advanced role at a doggie daycare. There, I wasn’t just training dogs—I was helping the staff understand canine behavior to reduce conflict and improve group dynamics. I’d often be in a room with 20+ dogs at once, learning something new from each pack interaction and building my confidence in behavior management. Today, my focus is diving deeper into behavioral work. Too many dogs are misunderstood, mislabeled, and ultimately sent to shelters when what they really need is someone willing to see beneath the surface. I don’t just train—I listen, observe, and work to uncover the why behind every behavior. Every dog I meet, I treat like my own. (And speaking of that—I’ve got three of my own at home… but if you ask me, I want ten!) I believe every dog deserves to be understood, and I’m here to make that happen—one tail wag at a time."

"Hi! I'm Natalie and I'm a dog trainer that specializes in behavior. I'm passionate about education, giving dogs the quality of life they deserve, and changing lives one dog at a time. I've been training dogs professionally for almost 6 years, however my background in behavior goes way back to my equine days, specializing in Natural Horsemanship along with developing a learning path for riding lesson students with learning disabilities, including Autism. Over the last few years I've been blessed with the chance to work with several different canines, including behavior modification of shelter dogs and pet dogs, creating functional obedience, and building a better bond between owner and dog. Personally I have a huge passion for protection dogs and the loves of my life are my Malinois. I have trained and competed in Agility and am currently a member and competitor in WDA (Working Dog Association). I currently live right outside of Roanoke Virginia with my pack of 6 Malinois (Peacemaker, Karma, Tilikum, Goshen, Gus and Reaper) and my two shelter mutts (Savvy and Spaghetti)."
