Joanna is a professional dog trainer whose passion for animals and canine training began at an early age. Knowing from childhood that she wanted to work with dogs, Joanna began pursuing that passion professionally while still in high school, mentoring under an experienced trainer for several years. Following graduation, she transitioned into professional dog training and has continued building her experience ever since.
Throughout her career, Joanna has worked with hundreds of dogs across a wide variety of breeds, sizes, temperaments, and behavioral needs. Her experience ranges from puppy foundations and everyday obedience to behavior modification, aggression cases, and advanced sport-level training.
Joanna particularly enjoys the problem-solving aspect of dog training. She believes that every dog-and-owner relationship is unique and approaches each training program individually, adapting her methods to the dog in front of her and the goals of the owner. Her focus is not simply on improving behavior, but on creating clear communication, reliability, and lasting unity between dogs and their families.
Her passion for training extends well beyond her professional work. Joanna is an active competitor in protection sports, primarily Protection Sports Association (PSA) and American Protection and Patrol Dog Association (APPDA). Her involvement in competitive dog sports continues to challenge and expand her skills while giving her extensive hands-on experience with driven, powerful, and working breeds.
Joanna shares her life with a diverse group of dogs, including American Pit Bull Terriers, Belgian Malinois, a Patterdale mix, and a Bandog. Her love for animals extends beyond dogs as well, with a boa constrictor, Brazilian rainbow boa, and Syrian hamster also part of her household.
Whether working with a young puppy, addressing complex behavioral challenges, or developing advanced skills, Joanna’s goal is to help dogs and their owners better understand one another and build a confident, reliable partnership designed to last.
