Anthony “Tony” Alexander’s passion for animals began at an early age. Growing up, he was the kid constantly asking to bring home stray dogs and dreaming of a future working with animals. That passion led him to study Small Animal Care in high school and complete a zookeeper internship with the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, where he gained valuable hands-on experience caring for and working alongside a variety of animal species.
Today, Tony is a professional dog trainer with over five years of experience helping dogs and their owners achieve lasting success through clear communication, structure, consistency, and proven training methods. His expertise spans obedience training, behavior modification, scent work, agility, puppy development, and relationship-building between dogs and their families.
Throughout his career, Tony has worked with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, helping owners overcome challenges such as leash pulling, poor recall, reactivity, aggression, excessive excitement, and other unwanted behaviors. He understands that every dog is unique and believes that successful training begins with developing a customized approach that meets the specific needs of both the dog and owner.
Tony’s training philosophy centers on building confident dogs, educated owners, and stronger human-canine relationships. He is committed to providing practical, results-driven training that not only creates reliable obedience but also equips owners with the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain their dog’s success long after training is complete.
Whether you’re raising a new puppy, addressing behavioral concerns, advancing obedience skills, or exploring specialized training such as scent work or agility, Tony is dedicated to helping you unlock your dog’s full potential and create a partnership built on trust, respect, and understanding.
His mission is simple: build obedient dogs, confident owners, and lasting results that improve the lives of both.
